Temple seeks new premises

The trustees and volunteers of the International Pure Bhakti Yoga Society, which owns and managed the Sri Radha Govinda Temple are in search of an alternate premises for their place of worship.

Priest Balaramdas said that the Society is currently hosted at the Hindu Heritage Centre by prominent businessman and New Zealand Hindu Council President Vinod Kumar.

“The property is now undergoing transformation into a housing estate and the Temple is looking for another sponsor with suitable vacant premises such as a an unused shop front or industrial space,” he said.

He said that the new premises should also have sufficient space for his residence.

“Our programme commences at 420 am, ending with the evening Aarti at 630 pm. Devotees are offered a free feast of ‘Krishna Prasadam’ on Sundays between 11 am and 1 pm,” Balaramdas said.

The Temple is located at 10 B Bukem Place (off Gadsby Road) at the rear property, next to Boggust Park in Favona, East Mangere.
