When Al Hussain of Davie Motors Holden was declared winner of the ‘Outstanding Sales Achiever Award’ for 2010, just a few were surprised.
For, winning such accolades has become a regular habit for the man known for his affable manners and professional calibre, backed by a Company known for its quality products and services.
But many wondered as to how ‘Al,’ as he is popularly called, managed to win the Award despite being away from work for more than a month last year, performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia (as millions of Muslims from all over the world do during the Eid Al Adha celebrations).
There is no secret here; the man takes his job and customers seriously while on duty and does his best to send home the latter satisfied with a new vehicle. Davie Motors Holden (a family-owned Company) has been in business for more than 60 years in putting a smile on the face of customers. They often return whenever in need of a car and recommend Davie Motors Holden to their colleagues and friends.
Al was justifiably proud to receive the Award along with other top selling sales people of New Zealand’s Holden at an exclusive Awards Ceremony held in Auckland on April 2.
The ‘Outstanding Sales Achiever Award’ placed him at the 5th Best Holden Sales Specialist in New Zealand Holden Dealer network for 2010.
Al has received similar awards on five separate occasions in the past including the prestigious ‘Number One Top-Selling Award.’
Dealer Principal of Davie Holden Ian Penten said he was proud of Al’s outstanding sales achievement.
“I know that he has worked very hard to build strong relationships within the community. Al enjoys a very high repeat sale rate and this is part of his commitment to look after customers’ long after the deal is done,” he said.
Davie Motors Holden has been a part of the South Auckland community since 1953, with strong connections to the people of South and East Auckland.
Mr Penten has been with the Company for 19 years and Al Hussain for 14 years.
