Gurbrinder Aulakh is a litigation lawyer and has successfully represented clients in judicial review matters at the High Court, acted in insolvency and liquidation matters. He has represented clients on Family and Relationship Property matters.
He has defended clients in criminal matters at the District Court and the High Court and defended Immigration advisors before the disciplinary tribunal.
He successfully litigated a privacy act matter before the Human Rights Tribunal, which was reported in ‘Law News’ of the Auckland District Law Society.
He has also appeared before the Court of Appeal and has undertaken a lot of pro bono work.
Mr Aulakh has advised the Indian High Commission on legal matters in the past.
Mr Aulakh sits on the Litigation Committee of the Auckland District Law Society.
He is a strong advocate of wider communities and has written many articles on issues of public interest.
