Right switch lights up a career

‘Computer Power Plus’ student Sofia Paul made the switch to a career in Information Technology (IT) to help her pursue her career goal better.

After completing a three-year Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering in India, she found employment with a US-based recruitment firm as a Data Miner.

“After two years, I decided to change my career to IT. I always wanted to be a part of the IT world and hence decided to choose a qualification in IT, which led me to my career goal,” she said.

Sofia said she chose ‘Computer Power Plus’ because of the self-directed learning pattern and the flexibility of hours, which gave her the opportunity to manage her schedule appropriately.

Sofia claimed that the Diploma of Software Development ‘a unique and student-centred learning model refreshing.
