Raise your hands to support a positive initiative of StarJam.
A not-for-profit organisation, StarJam helps young New Zealanders with disabilities (called, ‘Jammers’) to unleash their full potential through the magic of music, dance and performance.
Its nationwide workshops, gigs and events connect Jammers with their passions, peers and wider community throughout New Zealand.
“Together Aotearoa, let us all raise our hands and raise funding for StarJam and champion the celebration and acceptance of disability. Post a photo or video of you raising your hands for StarJam on your Facebook or Instagram page. Be sure to tag StarJam,” a press release said.
You can donate a nominal amount of $5 and encourage your associates and friends to do so.
