AIA corporate clients can now offer life insurance to their employees online, after the launch of the new ‘REAL Easy Life Cover Portal Service’ on April 30, 2016.
Corporate Solutions clients can offer their employees ‘REAL Easy Life Cover’ that offers life protection up to the value of $300,000, as well as a new unique $15,000 Spouse Funeral Benefit Option.
The offer is available to existing Corporate Solutions clients, as well as new corporate clients.
Clients’ employees can complete their applications at the click of a mouse at www.realeasyinsurance.co.nz
Employees then complete five simple application questions which will take just a few minutes.
AIA New Zealand Corporate Business Development Manager Kylie Stubbs said that ‘REAL Easy Life Cover’ is another step towards making insurance simple and convenient for AIA’s corporate customers.
Main advantage
“The main advantage of ‘REAL Easy Life Cover’ is that employers can have payments debited directly from their employees’ accounts or credit cards, whereas in the past an employer would have had to arrange salary deductions for their employees.
The Spouse Funeral Option is unique to the voluntary group market, meaning that AIA is offering a point of difference to its customers.
“I think our corporate clients and new corporate customers will appreciate the simplicity of the ‘REAL Easy Life Cover Portal’ and Online Application Process, and this new product provides a great offering for their employees,” Ms Stubbs said.

The product also eliminates the need for AIA brokers to calculate individual quotations. Brokers can send a unique web link, provided by AIA New Zealand, to customers to assist with applications for ‘REAL Easy Life Cover’ and product developments, which will follow.
