A number of friends and well-wishers joined Auckland based businessman Puvanakumar Sundaramoorthy in celebrating the 85th birthday of his father-in-law Kandiah Arulanantham at his Epsom home recently.
Born in Vaddukoddai in Jaffna (Sri Lanka), Mr Arulanantham was involved in a number of successful ventures. He was the Director of Multi-Needs Pharmacy, Wellawatte Medical Clinic and Jilani Agency Post office in Colombo.
He migrated to New Zealand with his wife Sivaneswary in 1997.
The couple have a daughter (Dr Malini Puvanakumar) and son Kugathasan Arulanantham.
