New Virtual Masterclasses for Indian academic market

Education New Zealand, eight Universities of the country and Indian storytelling expert Terribly Tiny Tales have teamed up to present a new series of virtual ‘Masterclasses’ for the Indian market.

Each Masterclass invites academics and experts in their field to talk on an unusual theme within education, and how New Zealand has a strength in it.

ENZ Country Manager (India) Jugnu Roy said that the academic Masterclass series is a programme that is being conducted for the past few years.

Showcasing our Research

“We have had great success boosting the profile of Kiwi academics in India and showcasing the breadth and depth of New Zealand research. This year, we are very happy to explore areas of research to ensure that the reputation of New Zealand researchers remains high in India while international travel remains limited,” she said.

International education professionals in New Zealand and other stakeholders are welcome to attend the series at https://www.instagram.com/ttt_official.

Sessions in May and June

Ms Roy said that the series was recently paused due to the Covid-19 situation in India.

“There are two sessions remaining for May and June,” she said.

Theme III: Careers in Climate Change: May 22, 2021: Masterclass with Professor Rosalind Archer (University of Auckland) and Dr Apisalome Movono (Massey University).

Theme IV: Fashion and the Future: What it means to design for this decade. May 29, 2021: Instagram takeover with Sue Prescott (Massey University) and Hannah Goldblatt (Victoria University of Wellington).

June 5, 2021: Masterclass with Sue Prescott (Massey University) and Hannah Goldblatt (Victoria University of Wellington).

“You can also watch Theme I: Investing Your Interest: Why you should pursue a career in Finance on the Terribly Tiny Tales Instagram profile,” Ms Roy said.
