The Counties Manukau Multicultural Council elected community leader Gul Zaman to the post of President for 2011-2012 at its Annual General Meeting held at Sangeet Restaurant in Manukau on April 26.
Ganges Singh, another community veteran, is the Immediate Past President.
Among the others elected to various posts at the Meeting were Kit Wong, Pant Lal Daroch (Vice-President), Mushtaq Sheikh (Secretary), Davinder Singh Rahal (Associate Secretary), Mukhtar Mohammed Ditta (Treasurer), Nirmal Singh (Auditor) and Abdul Khaid, Asheera Parshotam, Israr Sheikh and Vishal Prasad (Committee Members).
