The global attention that the ‘News of the World’ and its scandal-mongering reporters and so-called journalists have received in recent weeks may be enough to make many aspirants to back off and seek ‘better’ careers.
But that is not the case. For all the flak that scribes have received worldwide, there are many who would like to pursue a career in the media.
Many like our Model of the Fortnight Brooke Miller.
“I have always been attracted towards the Media and following my graduation from school this year, I hope to pursue specialised study in the Media at the University, although Performing Arts is also enticing,” she said.
Born and raised in New Zealand in a well-knit family of patens and two siblings (a younger brother and sister), Brooke has the best of all worlds- love and care of the family, independent thought and action, and a good circle of friends who wish her well in life and career.
Brooke may find her experience at the University befitting her proclivities.
This teenager has been evincing considerable interest in drama.
This year saw her involvement in ‘The Witches of Eastwick,’ a 2000 Musical written by John Updike. ‘Macbeth’ is another school production that has kept Brooke busy.
She said American singers and songwriters Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are her sources of inspiration and motivation in life and career.
“I also love modelling and enjoyed this photo shoot. I would like to take up modelling on a professional basis if there are enough opportunities,” she said.
We said, “Our Photographer Bhavnesh Soni, who runs this column may be of help. We are told that many young aspirants have been the beneficiaries of his good word.”
