Property development and Real Estate are not the prerogative of a few and the market is open for new and young players who have the penchant for hard work and customer satisfaction, says Daniel Petley, our Model of the Fortnight.
He also proves that this Column is not restricted to beautiful young women and that there is a place for machos like him!
A mixed parentage (his mother is British and Father a Tongan) has given him cross-cultural exposure, while he learnt traditional values from his grandfather who raised him since he was one year old.
Daniel attended Lynfield College and completed NCEA Levels One and Two. Thereafter he felt that he had grown out of the school environment and decided to launch a career in an industry, which held his interest.
His desire to become a successful entrepreneur drove him to enroll in a Small Business Management Correspondent Course.
The theoretical knowledge encouraged him to launch a business venture with his close friend Farah Ali.
Called, Exclusive Business Solutions Limited, the Company specialises in construction of new homes and renovation of existing ones.
“Exclusive Building Solutions undertakes a variety of jobs, including installing new bathrooms, kitchens, driveway and home extensions,” he said.
Daniel believes in planning his life and business. There is a time for business, hobbies and of course personal pursuits.
“Time Management is the key to success,” he said
“I am an outgoing and down-to-earth person. I always try new things!” he said.
Daniel is also keen on acting and modeling but his ambition rests elsewhere.
“I hope to start my own urban street wear shoe and clothing company and expand my current business to a commercial level,” he said.
