Rhonda Byrne brought the concept of manifestation to the mainstream with her book and film, “The Secret.” At the core of her book lies the Law of Attraction, the principle that like attracts like. Positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.

She said, “The more you use the power within you, the more you draw it in. It is like the universe is like a genie, and it says, ‘Your wish is my command.”

Ms Byrne’s words highlight the idea that our thoughts and emotions shape our reality, reinforcing the importance of focusing on positive desires to attract positive outcomes.

Louise Hay, a pioneer in the self-help genre, explored the transformative power of affirmations in her book “You Can Heal Your Life.” She believed that our thoughts create our experiences and that changing our thoughts could positively impact our health and well-being.

She said, “Every thought we think is creating our future. The intimate connection between thoughts and the future emphasises the role of manifestation in shaping not only our external circumstances but also our internal states.”

Chopra’s insight stresses on the importance of focused attention and intention in the manifestation process, suggesting that our energy flows where our attention goes.
