Global Indianz elects new office-bearers

Auckland, April 21, 2017

Members of ‘Global IndiaNZ,’ a wing of the National Party of New Zealand elected South Auckland resident Amar Manchanda, to the post Chairman at their Annual General Meeting held in Auckland on April 18, 2017.

National Party Regional Chair Andrew Hunt, coordinated the election process held at the Party’s Regional Office in Greenlane.

Other Posts

The Meeting also elected four candidates to the post of Vice-Chairman. They are Kulwant Minhas, Manmohan Singh Bhat, Paramjit Dhatt and Rahul Sirigiri.

The Members also elected Bhupinder Bhinda (Secretary), Sukhmandar Baba (Treasurer), and Iqbal Singh (Assistant Treasurer).

Anil Lamba, Jasdeepak Sandhu, Beant Jador, Resham Singh, Pritpal Singh, Avtar Hans and Blessan M Jose were elected to the Executive Committee.

Shefali Mehta was elected to the post of Chairwoman.

Global IndiaNZ is a special interest group that aims to give New Zealanders of Indian descent or birth a bigger voice in the Party and in the political process.
