Extended chance to enter Sports Awards

The stage is set for getting nominations assessed for the Fifth Annual Indian Newslink Indian Sports Awards (INLISA).

The response to the Awards this year has been positive, and going by the success and direction of our Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards Programme, the independent panel of judges see INLISA increasing in participation, popularity and nominee aspiration over the coming years.

The panel is honoured and excited to be on the journey and is looking forward to perusing and evaluating the nominations over the coming month, as well as to the Awards Presentation Night on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Pullman Hotel.

Computer glitch

Many nominators have informed us that the Excel-based form loaded on the Awards Website (www.inlisa.com) has proved difficult to download or open.

An upload of a Word-type form is being arranged.

Given the form difficulty, the panel felt some people were disadvantaged with the nomination process.

As a result, we are accepting more nominations until May 8, 2016.

Given this extension, I encourage those who have missed the submission deadline in April, to make use of this opportunity and email their nominations as soon as possible.  Any queries can be sent to isa2016@peaceconsulting.co.nz

Although in its fifth year, this year’s edition sees a major overhaul of the Awards with new categories, a new independent panel of judges and a totally revamped Awards Night with special overseas guests invited for the occasion.

Over the next two issues, we will be profiling all the ten judges in our panel as well as providing details of the function.
