Wellington based Woburn International has won the top honour of ‘Cartus Global Destination Service Provider of 2013.’
The Company’s Managing Director June Ranson received the Award at an international convention attended by more than 2500 persons in Dallas, Texas.
The Company, which specialises in migration and corporate relocation, vied with other companies within the Cartus network.
Cartus is a leading provider of global relocation services assisting nearly 160,000 transferees across 165 countries, serving 64% of Fortune 50 companies.
Woburn International has been part of the Cartus network for the past three years.
Quality service
Ms Ranson is a licensed immigration advisor and Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment (NZAMI).
According to her, large countries handling greater volume of executive relocations usually win such awards.
“Global clients reporting on the levels of service that they have received in the previous 12 months vote for the winner.
“It is therefore gratifying and a real coup for New Zealand,” she said.
Ms Ranson said that her Company handles hundreds of corporate relocations a year, offering a total package of services from immigration processes and resettlement to cultural integration and guidance on the cost of living for businesspeople transferring to New Zealand.
