Auckland Regional Migrant Services (ARMS) will conduct its next free job search workshop for new migrants on May 26, 2015.
It will be held at the offices of ARMS located at Three Kings Plaza, Mt Albert Road from 915 am to 315 pm.
Expert Advice
The workshop is free for new migrants who have been in New Zealand less than two years and for those on full work visas. It provides them with advice and guidance on finding work, writing CVs and cover letters, answering interview questions, and communication in the Kiwi work place.
ARMS runs several other useful workshops such as ‘Immigration Information’ in association with the Auckland Community Law Centre. It covers legal rights and obligations of holding a residence visa, visa expiry, and unlawful stay in New Zealand, where to find the right information, who can assist, and how much it would cost.
