An Auckland based Event Management Company has secured the Title Sponsorship of one of the fastest growing commodity trading companies.
Aiswarya Entertainments Managing Director Sasi Nambissan and Director Dr Rita Sasidharan signed an agreement for the premier deal with Windfall Global Alliance (WGA) Group Director Anitha Sweeney at the latter’s office on November 7 for their ambitious Dance Drama titled, ‘Taj Mahal.’
More than 100 artistes are currently rehearsing for the Dance Drama, scheduled to be staged at ASB Theatre in Auckland City on March 31, 2012.
The mammoth production will narrate one of the most famous love stories of the 17th Century – how a grieving Emperor of the Mughal India (Shah Jahan) ordered the construction of an architectural marvel in memory of his wife (Mumtaz). Taj Mahal, located in Agra, near New Delhi, has been a source of mystery and attraction for millions of people from across the world.
Mr Nambissan said that the Title Sponsorship brought to light one of the most dynamic companies in New Zealand, enhancing the value of the Project.
Rapid Growth
“WGA Group pursues excellence, offering quality products and services to a growing family of clients. The Group is involved in a number of areas including Education, Technology and Foreign Exchange. Since its establishment in 2007, the Group has demonstrated diligence and dedication, fortified by vision and strategy to serve a cross-section of the country’s businesses, groups and individuals,” he said.
Dr Sasidharan said the Project has been in the making for more than three years, involving planning, sourcing, composing and recording original music and sound track with the mellifluous voice of S P Balasubrahmanyam.
“Taj Mahal incorporates songs and dances based on a number of Indian classical styles including Bharata Natyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak and folk dances such as Rajasthani and Zufi. With exquisite costumes and jewellery, it will be a resplendent showcase of India’s culture and heritage,” she said.
WGA Director Anitha Sweety said commercial organisations should support associations and groups organising quality programmes such as Taj Mahal: A Dance Drama, involving various ethnic communities.
“There is a need to preserve, protect and promote time-honoured traditions, arts and culture. WGA is happy to be involved with Aiswarya Entertainments Limited which is bringing to the stage an important aspect of Indian history,” she said.
A postgraduate in Business Administration Ms Sweety has experience in multi-disciplines including international trade, education, healthcare management, computer engineering and microfinance.
A detailed profile of Ms Sweety and her Group will appear in an ensuing edition.
