It is with deep regret that we report the passing away of one of the dearest members of the business and social communities in Chennai about 30 minutes ago.
His daughter Sneha called us to convey the tragic news.
Wenceslaus Anthony, who was at the Apollo Hospital for the past two-and-half days, lost the battle for life even as a team of doctors did their best to restore him.
The end came as his wife Susan, daughter Sneha, son Akash and other relatives were around him.
The funeral will be held in Chennai on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
We will announce the details including the place and time later.
We pray the departed soul to rest in peace.
We will post a tribute to Mr Anthony shortly.
