Auckland, December 16, 2020
We have pleasure in presenting our December 15, 2020 issue of Indian Newslink.
This issue carries analysis of two major issues as we conclude the final edition for the tumultuous and yet eventful year 2020. Firstly, the Report of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Christchurch Massacre of March 15, 2019 in which terrorist Brenton Tarrant killed 51 men, women and children who were praying at two Mosques in Christchurch. And secondly, the need for greater social cohesion and social inclusion. As a result, Prime Minister Jacinda Arden announced the formation of a Ministry of Ethnic Communities, a cause that we have been advocating for the past 21 years. We are elated that it will be headed by Priyanca Radhakrishnan, a person of Indian origin as the First Minister. The issue contains all other usual columns. Please read and share it with your friends on the Social Media.
We take this opportunity to wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Although our offices will be closed from December 16, 2020 to January 14, 2021, our Web Edition and Social Media input will continue round-the-clock throughout the Holiday Season.
With Best Wishes from the Indian Newslink team.
