Swami Atulananda –
These school holidays, Chinmaya Mission New Zealand is hosting free public talks which are conducted by the Spiritual Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda.
These talks are based on the Bhagavad Gita and are delivered in English.
Swami Swaroopananda hails from the ‘Dashanaami Sannyas’ lineage of saints initiated by Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
Swamiji was initiated into this order by His Guru H H Swami Chinmayananda in 1992.
Ever since, Swamiji has travelled around the world inspiring people of all ages into re-discovering purpose and excellence in their various fields of interest.
Vedic Essence
Through his discourses, Swamiji brings the ancient wisdom of ‘Vedanta’ (Essence of the Vedas) to the modern individual who finds himself drained by the rigours of the day-to-day mundane world.
Swami Swaroopananda is well-known for his lucid explanations of this subtle knowledge, and carries with him the fragrance of its authenticity.
Such Masters of Vedanta who are willing and able to unveil this subtle understanding to all ages are rare indeed.
Swamiji is also well known for his transformational effect on the youth and is the author of ‘Make it Happen,’ a highly effective personal development programme.
Liberating emotions
Happiness, peace and freedom are natural desires; but despite them being our own nature we helplessly strive for them, with little success.
Why?
How do we get freedom from Anger, Fear, Worry Pain and Despair, and instead come to live an inspired life of Peace, Assurance, Achievement and Self-Worth?
This five-day talk series is an ideal opportunity to uplift our standards of performance to not just meet our KPI (Key Performance Indicators) in life, but also make our actions truly significant by expanding our vision.
The techniques to do so are explained in the Bhagavad Gita, which has been the cornerstone of Hindu philosophy for generations.
The Champion expounds
The Gita is a conversation between the Champion among men and a Master of all Yogas, which eventually restored the shattered hero’s courage in the midst of the greatest challenge of his life.
Swami Swaroopananda deftly expounds upon the key mantras from the Bhagavad Gita, leading the audience to vividly experience the mighty power that lies behind Krishna’s Powerful Instructions.
A wake-up call to each of us, to take charge of our own life and destiny!
“Spirituality is neither the privilege of the poor nor the luxury of the rich. It is the choice of the wise man.” – Swami Chinmayananda
