Nadi Soccer Team
The formation of the Nadi Indian Soccer Association in 1937 fostered Soccer interest in the area, which in turn led to the establishment of the Nadi Football Club in the same year.
The Nadi team has been Champion of the Fiji IDC eight times, since winning the match for the first time in 1969.
Former Team President of Nadi and Fiji Soccer Navaneeda Gounder said the Club staked its claim for higher achievements as a ‘Giant of Soccer.’
Nadi Soccer is a sharp and fast moving team in green.
Ba Soccer Team
Ba Soccer should be the envy of most other teams. Its glories date back to 2003, when it registered a series of multiple wins in all the FIJI FA tournaments, save for the Battle of the Giants.
The Men in Black have never allowed their success, now well known throughout the soccer-playing world, to affect their friendly attitude towards fellow players or competitors.
They are renowned for their back-to-back wins in the domestic circuit and carry their country’s name in OFC tournaments.
Lautoka Soccer Team
The Lautoka Football Association was formed in 1934 under the leadership of John Bairagi, with two teams namely, the Lautoka Soccer Team and the Namoli Indian Sports and Service.
Lautoka was one of the founding members of the Fiji Indian Football Association, in 1938, which became the Fiji Football Association in 1961.
The Team has the record of having scored the highest goals in the IDC Finals in Fiji. The Team once trounced Ba twice in the Finals (6-0 and 7-0). The Team also vanquished Suva once 7-1. The record remains unsurpassed.
Lautoka is also the first Team to win the IDC continuously for three years.
