Fijian businesses will come together under the Fiji Trade Commission banner to showcase the taste of Fijian delicacies at the Auckland Food Show next week.
The four-day event will be held at ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane from July 25 to 28, 2024.
The Fiji Trade Commission, with Investment Fiji, as part of the Fiji Ministry of Trade, is supporting small and medium enterprises and exporters of Fiji to participate in trade shows such as this to allow them to pitch their products.
The forthcoming event will also enable them to get the latest market insights, consumer demands and best practices which they can take back with them to Fiji.
Sydney-based Fiji Trade Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand Daniel Stow said that such delicious tradeshows demonstrate Fiji’s ability to produce niche and premium products suitable for overseas exports.

A platform for Fijian exporters
“We are pleased to be back for the Auckland Food Show for 2024. We believe this is an ideal platform for Fijian exporters to showcase their premium range of products to a targeted international audience of buyers, importers and distributors. Some of these companies are fulfilling their social responsibilities in Fiji by engaging with the local village communities as a step towards reaching their end manufacturing goal such as engaging with ginger, turmeric and chilli farmers that provide these commodities that are used to create either their natural spices, juices or hot sauces,” he said.

The Fijian and Pacific Diaspora in New Zealand will be able to enjoy the taste of their home delicacies. They are always keen on going to the nearest dairy shop in their suburb that provides them with Fijian delicacies and brands.
Mr Stow said this tradeshow will provide the Fijian brands an opportunity to be scouted by bigger supermarket chains and stores allowing the Fijian taste to reach the wider Kiwi and Fijian customers.
“The Fiji Trade Commission is pleased to work with these exporters in helping them find new markets for their products and also help support jobs and local communities in Fiji,” he said.
There will be a variety of Fijian-made snacks, food, spices, hot sauces and coffee at the Auckland Food Show this year.
Among the companies participating in the Fiji Booth are Fiji Fire, Daily Goods, PanPac, Bula Coffee, Aztec Farms and FMF.
We look forward to receiving you at the event.
