Tamilians mourn youngster’s death

Members of the Tamil community in Auckland are mourning the sudden and untimely death of 11-year-old Sahana Indran on March 22 after a brief illness.

Sahana was the daughter of Indran Ranganathan (Richardson Auto Services) and Sasi, both of who are members of the Muthtamil Sangam.

“Sahana, an Auckland Normal Intermediate School student, was a multi-talented youngster and was everyone’s favourite with her enchanting smile. This is an irreparable loss,” Sangam Secretary Soundhar Thiruppathi said.

Hundreds of mourners were at her funeral held at Davis Funerals in Mt Eden on March 27.
