A new team has taken charge of the Muthtamil Sangam in Auckland, following an election held as a part of the Annual General Meeting on May 22.
The office-bearers are Nathan Saminathan (President), Balasubramanian Santhana Krishnan (Vice-President), Purushotam Madanagopal (Secretary), Sridhar Nagappan (Treasurer), Balamurali Subbaraj, Maninilavan Arivukkarasu, Sebastian Lourdusamy, Shanthosh Krishna, Sasikala Indiran and Uma Maheshwari (Committee Members).
Outgoing Secretary Soundhar Thiruppathi described his tenure as eventful, affording an opportunity to learn and contribute to the progress of the Association.
“I hope that the members of the Sangam will continue to be active and extend their cooperation to the new team of office-bearers,” he said.
