Auckland based Muthtamil Sangam is hosting Tamil classes for children on Saturdays from 4 pm to 5 pm at 56 Glass Road (Roskill South Oasis Hub), Mt Roskill.
Secretary Kathir Sam said that with the increase in the number of children attending these classes, the need for more teachers would become pronounced.
“I appeal to those who have the ability and willingness to teach to contact us so that we can maintain a pool of teaching talent for use when the need arises. While we are not looking for Tamil scholars, those who have leant Tamil during their student years and can share their time and interest would be welcome,” he said.
