A delegation representing Taiwan’s fasteners industry is due in Auckland next month.
Fourteen companies stated to be leaders in fastening materials and equipment are scheduled to participate in an exhibition and buyer-seller meeting at Rendezvous Grand Hotel (Mayoral Drive) on Monday, October 6, 2014.
Organised by the Sydney based Taiwan Trade Centre, the delegation, led by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is visiting Auckland as a part of its tour of Australia and New Zealand.
“The purpose of this visit is to explore market opportunities and form closer trade relationship. The Mission will hold trade meetings and showcase the latest and most innovative products. Local businesses will have a unique opportunity to meet the Taiwanese suppliers and discuss possible business cooperation,” a press note said.
The companies specialise in screws and fasteners, stainless steel flat washers, drywall screws, blind rivets, bimetal self-drilling screws, fasteners for automobiles, machinery, roofing screws, bolts and other types of washers and screws.
Chite Enterprises, Ray Fu Enterprises, Boss Precision Works and Your Choice Fasteners & Tools are among the participating companies.

“It is possible that every home in New Zealand has fasteners made in Taiwan.
