A trade mission from Taiwan will be in Auckland and Wellington next week opening up new opportunities for commercial engagement.
The 21-member delegation will showcase the latest products and technology that Taiwan can offer at an exhibition in the two cities.
The venues will also promote one-to-one meetings with New Zealand businesses including importers and traders.
Organised jointly by the Sydney based Taiwan Trade Centre (TTC) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the exhibition and individual meetings will be held in Auckland on November 12 at Rendezvous Grand Hotel (71 Mayoral Drive) and in Wellington on November 13 at Shed 6, Room 1, Queen’s Wharf. The event will be held from 930 am to 430 pm at both cities.
TAITRA is the foremost not-for-profit trade organisation that promotes Taiwan and its businesses across the world.
The exhibition augurs well with the Agreement signed by New Zealand and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu on Economic Cooperation (ANZTEC) in Wellington on July 10, 2013.
The Pact aims to facilitate mutually beneficial economic co-operation and enhance bilateral and regional trade.
The mission will provide an opportunity for New Zealand companies to understand the latest products on offer and discuss possibilities of commercial engagement with the delegates of the visiting mission.
