A new Childcare Centre promising to be different and distinct is set to open in the South Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe shortly.
Discoveries on Kolmar (a unit of Discoveries Educare) will mark its Open Day from 9 am to 1 pm on December 10 on Kolmar Road promoting its services and facilities.
Discoveries Director Rippan Sandhu said the new Centre would be the third Centre under the ‘Discoveries’ banner in Manukau District.
She claimed that the Centre was an example of the Company’s commitment to quality early childhood education in the Manukau region.
“We have worked with architects and interior designers to create a purpose-built Centre that is sensitive to the needs of children and can support their learning development.
“Our goal is to provide a secure, caring and nurturing environment in order that every child can learn and reach their full potential,” she said.
Mrs Sandhu said the Centre aimed to nurture and intrigue children, thereby kindling their spirit of learning and curiosity.
The Centre offers the latest learning resources for children at all levels, she said.
“Establishing a Childcare Centre from scratch has allowed us not only to design it with the best interests of the children in mind but also to ensure that the learning resources are state-of-the-art, reflecting the best practice in Early Childhood Education,” Mrs Sandhu said.
She said the Centre boasts of quality staff, with love, knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to children.
“They are well experienced, and most of them have Early Childhood qualifications. Their multi-cultural background enables them to understand the varied cultural needs of the local community,” Mrs Sandhu said.
