Indian Newslink will not reveal the identities of the two persons who were found dead at a home in the South Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe yesterday (December 30, 2019).
Detective Inspector Colin Higson and his team from Counties Manukau Police are investigating the tragic incident and will announce the names of the deceased and perhaps the circumstances that led to their death in due course.
“Police are supporting the families of those involved, who are understandably devastated by what has occurred. We acknowledge that this is a tragic incident and has shocked many people in the community,” Inspector Higson said.
Post mortems going on
He said that post mortems of the deceased are being conducted and that a four-year-old boy remains in hospital in a critical condition.
“Police officers are present at the property on Sunnyside Crescent as the scene examination continues. We have spoken to a number of people as a part of our ongoing inquiries and we thank the local community for their assistance in our investigation,” Inspector Higson said.
“I want to reiterate that Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this event,” he said.
