Sir Anand heads Expert Group

The Government has appointed former Governor General Sir Anand Satyanand to head the newly formed Expert Advisory Group on Information Security.

Carl Davidson (Chief Families Commissioner), Dr Murray Milner (Chair of National Health IT Board) and Rob Laking (Senior Associate at the Institute of Governance and Policy Studies at Victoria University) are the other members of the Group, appointed by Social Development Minister Paula Bennett.

The Group will monitor the implementation of the ‘Vulnerable Kids Information System’ (ViKi) and the new ‘Risk Predictor Tool,’ which aims to protect children from abuse and neglect.
