Pacific Investment Limited Managing Director Surya Sharma has been a soccer enthusiast since his formative years and hence it was only natural that he decided to sponsor the ‘Best Veteran Soccer Player of the Year’ Award of the Indian Newslink Indian Sports Awards.
“Soccer is the biggest game in the world and it is heartening to see our community achievers recognised. These Awards have earned the respect of everyone including budding players, coaches, managers and of course families,” he said.
Mr Sharma plays soccer whenever time permits.
He established Pacific Investment Limited four years ago after a successful stint in wholesale business. The Manukau based company today boasts of a good market share.
“New Zealand market is competitive and highly saturated with an increasing number of players. Quality products and regular supply have helped us to wade through difficult times. We are confident that we continue to serve businesses for long,” Mr Sharma said.
The company is an importer and wholesaler of a wide range of products including spices, sugar and Flour Mills of Fiji range of products such as Chow Noodles, Semolina, Flour, Coconut Oil, Potato, Casava and Dalo Chips.
It also imports large quantities of a wide range of products from India.
