The Ranchhod Group which owns and manages properties and other businesses on both sides of the Tasman has donated $3550 to Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust based in Auckland.
Raman Ranchhod and Mahesh Ranchhod, Directors of the Group had purchased a limited edition of Diwali Stamps auctioned by National Party MP Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi at a dinner hosted by the Party earlier.
They handed over the cheque to Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust Project Manager Nilima Venkat at a brief ceremony held on December 10, 2014.
“We strive to deliver culturally appropriate community-based support services with an emphasis on furthering the delivery of aged care services, healthy life style, education and assistance to settle in the New Zealand society. The Trust also provides Elder Abuse and Neglect Prevention Services through ‘Khushi,’ our other initiative,” she said.
