This is India’s first visually enriched radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he addresses the people of the Indian Nation on All India Radio, Door Dharshan National and Door Dharshan News.
Since the first show went on air on October 3, 2014, there have been 99 episodes.
The 100th episode will be broadcast on April 30, 2023 and it will be shown worldwide.
A survey conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak found at that at least 230 million people regularly listen to the broadcast or watch ‘Mann Ki Baat.
According to the survey, at least one billion people have listened to the programme at least once over the past nine years.
The Indian Diaspora is not just a few select groups invited by an induvial or an organisation but much more and beyond.
This is an invitation from the High Commissioner of India to New Zealand Neeta Bhushan, extended to all people of Indian origin.
This is an inclusive and open event. Truly, the need of the hour is to show solidarity for a Nation that is currently the world’s fifth-largest economy and set to be the world’s third-largest economy within the next five years.
India’s GDP growth will outstrip even that of China.
Each of us has an equal share of ownership and belonging.
Let us be there one and all to celebrate this day.
