In view of the extended lockdown levels surrounding Auckland the Second Annual Indian Newslink Festival is now scheduled to be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Mahatma Gandhi Centre, 145 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland.

The Organising Committee announced its decision following a virtual meeting held on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Programme highlights

The Programme, showcasing the Culture, Cuisine and Costumes of the five States, namely Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, will begin at 6 pm and will include dinner incorporating the cuisine of these States.

The Wellington-based Indian High Commission is the Title Sponsor of the Festival along with Oaks Properties. Among our Sponsors are Essilor New Zealand, Link2 Group, Manukau Institute of Technology and Auckland Indian Association.

The Organising Committee comprises the New Zealand Kannada Koota, Telangana Association of New Zealand, New Zealand Telugu Association, Mana Andhra Telugu Association New Zealand, Auckland Malayali Samajam, Auckland Malayali Hindu Samajam, Muthamil Sangam and Auckland Tamil Association.

As well as the Presidents and General Secretaries of the Eight Associations, the Organising Committee comprises associates and well-wishers of Indian Newslink.
