On behalf of the Panel of Judges for the Indian Business Awards 2021 in New Zealand, we send our deepest sympathy and prayers to the people of India, Fiji, and other associated countries exposed dramatically to the Covid-19 Virus.
Battling with shortages
Media reports and people speaking on radio talkback shows about their families, friends and others in India narrate the agony of the people and the shortage of Oxygen, hospital beds and supplies and facilities. The Federal and State governments in India are doing their best to make these supplies available as quickly as possible.
It is a terrible tragedy, and we wish all those effected to a quick recovery. As we have a large Indian population in New Zealand, we feel these conditions strongly.
There have been a few more cases in Fiji in the past week, forcing most parts of the country to into lockdown. We offer our best wishes to the people of Fiji and hope that they will be able to contain the spread of the Virus soon.
The hearts of all New Zealanders are with you in these difficult times. Deepest sympathy.
