EthNix Links Networks are organising the inaugural Ethnic Women’s Awards to recognise diverse ethnic women of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Called, ‘Women4Women,’ nominations to the Awards in six categories opened on June 1, 2021 and will close on August 20, 2021.
Ethnic women living in New Zealand are eligible to enter the Awards, being held under the theme, “Strengthening Ethnic Women’s Leadership and Social Inclusion”
Six Categories
The categories are (1) Business: Women who have excelled in business (2) Community Hero: Women who have contributed to the society and made a substantial difference to the lives of people of New Zealand (3) Entrepreneur: Women who have developed a social enterprise (4)
Young Professional Women: Open to women in the age group of 18 and 35 who have inspired their generation (5) Young Women in the Community: Open to women in the 18-35 age group (6) Auckland Bees Group Extraordinary Times Award: Open to a community-based group.
Awards Night
Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony to be held at 6.30 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Sorrento in the Park, located at 670 Manukau Road, Royal Oak, Auckland.
Tickets, priced at $90 per person and tables seating eight persons at $700 per table are available at WinMac Solutions Ltd, Kelston or Shivani Restaurants on Dominion Road and ABC Solutions Ltd, Papatoetoe. There will be no door sales.
