Sixteen years provide sufficient time for advertisers to assess the impact of using a medium to reach out to their target audience. On that score, Radio Tarana has been a significant partner to hundreds of companies, community groups and event organisers to product their products, services and programmes. They believe that advertising is an essential tool and that Radio Tarana enhances the value of their products and services.
Following are some of the messages Radio Tarana received on its entry into 16th year of operations.
Bikanervala Restaurant
I have found Radio Tarana an effective means of communicating our extensive range of sweets and savouries. While Bikanervala Restaurant in Mt Roskill and the new store in Papatoetoe date back only a few years, my association with Radio Tarana began in 1997 when its team was entertained at my newly opened ‘Kingfisher Restaurant,’ now known as ‘New Delhi Restaurant.’ Since then, I have had close interaction with several Tarana personalities.
The quality of programmes has improved tremendously. Commercials, news, talkback and community programmes are all of high standard.
Today, it is undoubtedly the Number One Hindi Radio in New Zealand. It is hard to imagine what we would be doing without Tarana today.
Ashok Sharma, Managing Director
Brownsons Jewellers
The service of Radio Tarana to the public at large has been second to none, with the team thriving for excellence. The results speak for themselves, in the industry ratings. Keep up this good work.
Radio Tarana is the voice of the entire Indian Community. It is informative, educational and entertaining; it is an undisputable business marketing tool.
We at Brownsons Jewellers and Memsaab are proud to have affiliation with the Radio Tarana Team. Congratulations on reaching the 15th year.
Jay Raniga, Director
Golian Group
I take this opportunity in sending our sincere greetings and good wishes to Radio Tarana on its 15th Year of operations.
Golian Consultants Ltd and Golian Legal have both been associated with Radio Tarana since its inception.
Radio Tarana as an ethnic medium has played a fundamental role in promulgating Indian culture, language and music. Above all, it has provided a variety of religious programmes and discourses and fostered togetherness within the multicultural, multiethnic and multi-religious communities.
I compliment this radio station for its invaluable contribution in inculcating the social and moral responsibilities on all ethnic listeners, regardless of their country of birth or origin.
I also take this opportunity to commend Radio Tarana and its management for discharging its duties cautiously and impartially as a media facilitator and implore that it continues to do so in the best interest of the community and New Zealand, the country we have all made our home.

I cannot imagine a day without tuning into Radio Tarana and without advertising what we have to offer our esteemed clients. Indeed, as a customer and a listener, this Radio Station makes my day. Our association with this Radio Station began 12 years ago and since then we have always considered this medium as the most significant to reach our customers. Radio Tarana offers instant channel of communication. I wish Robert Khan and his staff continued success.

Pranesh Raniga, Managing Director of R K Cars says advertising on Radio Tarana has “worked extremely well” for him over the past three years. “We have to announce the arrival of fresh consignments of vehicles from time to time and speaking to customers through this Radio Station has been very effective. Tarana provides us immediate access to reach our customers,” he said.
Travel 2000 Limited
Their advertisement has a touch of humour, attracting the attention of listeners. Over the years, Radio Tarana has become the most effective means of communication for ‘Travel 2000 Limited.’

Vision Asia (NZ) Ltd
We have been using Radio Tarana as our primary medium of advertising and we have experienced very good response.
The Radio Station has taken giant strides and today it is seen as a major entertainment provider in the South Asian Media Space in New Zealand.
