Never a dull moment with Tarana

Sixteen years provide sufficient time for advertisers to assess the impact of using a medium to reach out to their target audience. On that score, Radio Tarana has been a significant partner to hundreds of companies, community groups and event organisers to product their products, services and programmes. They believe that advertising is an essential tool and that Radio Tarana enhances the value of their products and services.

Following are some of the messages Radio Tarana received on its entry into 16th year of operations.

I have found Radio Tarana an effective means of communicating our extensive range of sweets and savouries. While Bikanervala Restaurant in Mt Roskill and the new store in Papatoetoe date back only a few years, my association with Radio Tarana began in 1997 when its team was entertained at my newly opened ‘Kingfisher Restaurant,’ now known as ‘New Delhi Restaurant.’ Since then, I have had close interaction with several Tarana personalities.

The quality of programmes has improved tremendously. Commercials, news, talkback and community programmes are all of high standard.

Today, it is undoubtedly the Number One Hindi Radio in New Zealand. It is hard to imagine what we would be doing without Tarana today.

The ethnic communities, comprising people of Indian origin, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are our core market. We are extremely pleased with the results that we get from this radio station,” he said.

We have been using Radio Tarana as our primary medium of advertising and we have experienced very good response.

The Radio Station has taken giant strides and today it is seen as a major entertainment provider in the South Asian Media Space in New Zealand.

The people at Tarana are also wonderful to deal with; they are always friendly and helpful in reaching our target audience.
