Mr India Finalist keen on Hindi film industry

Thirty-year-old Engineer Pratik Patel is ready to take over Bollywood.

He is a finalist at the ‘Mr India 2019  Contest,’ the finals of which will be held in Delhi in November.

Producer, Director and Actor Arbaaz Khan (brother of Salman Khan) will be a judge and the winner will receive opportunities to act in Indian films and commercials and be a model.

The event is produced by Delhi based Manish Sahdev, Managing Director, Skywalk Productions.

Pratik passed the auditions held in Delhi in June with his performances in acting and dance routine. He also wrote his two monologues based on his life and dreams inspired by the 2007 Hindi film ‘Om Shanti Om.’

Rigorous Training

Employed as IT Field Engineer, Pratik is currently training in two acting studios and plans to transition as an actor in New Zealand and India. In his spare time, he is a body-building enthusiast and practices Martial Arts such as Muay Thai, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Pratik has been rehearsing for Mr India for the past four months.

He has a personal branding manager, acting tutor, presenting coach, voice coach, and Hindi dialect coach.

Aspire to Inspire

Pratik is an advocate for mental health and wellbeing. Despite his busy schedule, he finds time to coach ten clients on a fortnightly basis and helps them lead healthy lifestyle. He coaches them on effective tools of managing stress, anxiety and depression.

He draws from his own experiences of struggling with depression, anxiety, self destruction and low self esteem.

Pratik found his way out of this and attributes his healthy lifestyle saying, “I picked up hobbies that helped me discipline my mind and body. I practiced gratitude on a daily basis and started helping others on a small scale – people who were struggling like I did.”
