Maturity comes with age and the latter is no bar for achieving one’s goal in life says Sudeshni Dass, our Model of the Fortnight.
Born in Nadi, Fiji, she was raised by her grandparents. Migrating to New Zealand during her formative years, she pursued here scholastic career at Mt Roskill Grammar School and later completed a Hairdressing course at ‘Cut Above Academy’ Nursing at Unitec.
While her initial interest was in the medical field, she branched out to hair care and today owns her own saloon.
However, her proclivities are in modelling.
“I enjoy show business and public performances. I always look for good opportunities,” she said.
A solo mother of two children, she has experienced harsh realities in life.
She is proud of her involvement in an upcoming feature film called ‘Urban Turban: Love, Life, Big City.’
Produced by Auckland based Dreamz Productions Limited, the film is due for release on March 27.
Sudeshni is equally excited about another film by the company, scheduled for release later in the year.
“I have a part of Dreamz Productions Limited for the past several years,” she said and has fond memories of IFFA Awards 2008 held in Bangkok.
She also cherishes her involvement in the Diwali Festival, Most Glamorous Lady Contest and other events.
She enjoys dancing, sports and spending time with her children.
