About 1000 people of various communities are gathered here at the Waiteri Marae Ngongotaha Rotorua at a formal, religious Maori felicitation to Wallace (Wally) Haumaha, who has recently been promoted to the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police (Maori, Pacific and Ethnic Communities). Police Commissioner Mike Bush is leading a team of Police Officers and the Members of his Maori, Pacifika and Ethnic Boards (like us).
