Reshab D Parikh Productions, which has branded itself as the organiser of the best and most popular beauty contest (Indianz) is bringing ‘Miss India Worldwide’ to Auckland in April 2014.
The first-time New Zealand event will have much more than beauty.
The company’s Director crosses swords with us objecting to our reports which indicate that his shows are ‘beauty pageants.’
“We have moved away from such a concept. Our industry partners have welcomed the transition that we have made from organising traditional pageants to a celebration of elegance and diversity. Miss Indianz is no more a brand name for beauty competitions. It is an annual event that gives an opportunity for a cross-section of people on stage to give vent to their talent, and to those in the audience to assimilate and appreciate our heritage,” he said.
Indian Newslink will publish details of Miss India Worldwide 2014 in its later issues.
On a related note, Miss Indianz 2013, held at Auckland Town Hall on September 14 was reportedly a resounding success, demonstrating the change of course.
“Our focus is not only to select a winner but also offer a range of opportunities for the participants,” he said.
