There are some people, who are consistent winners- as a child, spouse, parent, professional, colleague, employer and friend. They are a source of joy and endearment to everyone around them. People like Joanne Godinho.
Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards bear testimony to the winner that is inherent in her. She was the winner of the Best Businesswoman of the Year when it was launched as a new category in 2010. Last year, she was a finalist in the Best Medium-Sized Business and Best Businesswoman of the Year categories.
She has received accolades for Allure Hair & Beauty, which she owns and manages. According to the panel of independent judges, “Joanne provides clear leadership required in developing staff and growing a good business. She is passionate about providing great service to her clients and works hard to provide what the customers require.”
Her daughter Alesha won the Best Businesswoman of the Year Award in 2012, brining pride and joy to Joanne and husband Vincent.
Adding to her management expertise is Everest Coffee Company, of which she is the Chief Executive. Privately owned by coffee lovers, the Company, established in 2004 has excellent connections among prominent coffee growers worldwide. It was rebranded last year and is set to revolutionise the coffee market on both sides of the Tasman.
“We do not import any commercial-grade coffees. We import some of the best quality of green beans for distribution to brokers, wholesale roasters, and roaster/retailers in New Zealand and Australia,” Joanne said.
