Priest Chandru Parameswaran of the Papakura Ganesha Temple performed the ‘Ganesha Sthapana,’ invoking the Blessings of Lord Ganesha, the Remover of All Obstacles at the Kawai Purapura Yoga Resort, 14 Mills Lane, Albany, Auckland less than an hour ago.
The Invocation Ceremony marked the beginning of a four-day International Yoga Festival at the 19-acre bush resort which provides smoking and alcohol-free environment.
Multifarious activities
The five-day festival will account for thousands of people on its full run, complete with more than 100 workshops, music concerts, food and crafts stalls and yoga demonstration.
More than 75 international and local presenters across multiple Yoga styles (including Aerial and Stand Up Paddle) are attending the largest festival of its kind in New Zealand.
