Entry tickets to the Thirteenth Annual Indian Newslink Business Awards will be available from next month.
Tickets, priced at $150 plus GST per person and tables seating ten persons at $1500 plus GST per table include dinner, entertainment and the Awards Ceremony will be on sale, details of which can be obtained by email to venkat@indiannewslink.co.nz
Awards Night on March 21, 2022
In view of the Covid-19 lockdown regulations, the 13th Annual Indian Newslink Business Awards, scheduled earlier for November 29, 2021 has been shifted to Monday, March 21, 2022 (from 5 pm) at Mahatma Gandhi Centre, 145 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland City.
Entries to the Awards, which opened on April 23, 2021, is to open to all businesses of Indian, Fiji Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepali and Sri Lankan origin and in essence will celebrate the success of our businesses in South Asia.
We also have a new category called, ‘Business Excellence in International Trade with Fiji,’ which, along with the category, ‘Business Excellence in International Trade with India’ is open to all businesses registered in New Zealand.

We hope that the country soon reaches at least 90% double vaccination rate so that all of us can feel and remain safe.
Chip Dawson, Chairman of the Independent Panel of Judges said that the business community has been enduring hardship for the past almost two years.
“We will have a splendid event in 2022. We are committed to recognising the outstanding efforts of the entire South Asian Community and those businesses that have entered the awards. There will be a strong representation of dignitaries and distinguished guests for the event, including political, business and community leaders and businesspersons. In light of these changes, we will re-open the Indian Newslink Business Awards to companies and individuals that would like to enter the Awards,” he said.
We have 18 categories and in addition Commemoration Awards given in memory of business leaders from the community.
