Three former finalists and winners at the Indian Newslink Indian Business Awards (IBA) have demonstrated their business success in other Awards Schemes as well.
North Shore based Spice N Easy NZ Limited won the ‘Startup Business Award’ at the Westpac North Auckland Awards ceremony held at the North Shore Events Centre on September 2, 2011.
Auckland based Patton Limited, The Professional Bar & Restaurant School and Xlerate Technologies Limited have emerged as finalists in the Westpac Auckland Central Business Awards 2011.

Spice N Easy was described as a ‘Company that has registered impressive growth in a tough economic climate.”
Convenor of Judges Matthew Bellingham said that the panel was impressed by the Company’s commitment to developing the business, the range of products and research prior to releasing a product.
“Even though Spice n Easy is still small, it acts like a big company in terms of its professionalism, planning and marketing. With this attitude it is destined for something great,” he said.
Spice n Easy was a finalist in the Best Business Innovation, while its Director Vibha Soni made it to the finals in the Best Businesswoman of the Year category in IBA 2010.

Patton Limited, Sponsor of the Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year Category of IBA 2010 and 2011 is a finalist in the Excellence in ‘Workplace Safety’ category.
Patton’s products and services are crucial to the food and other industries, impacting health, food safety and even hygiene. The company manufactures unit coolers, condensing units, air-cooled condensers and dry coolers. Supermarkets, superettes and convenience stores are among the customers who use its products. Xlerate Technologies Limited was named a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Innovation’ and ‘Excellence in Exporting’ categories, while the Professional Bar & Restaurant School is a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Exporting’ Category.
Xlerate Technologies Limited was the winner of the Best Marketing Excellence Award and a finalist in the Best Innovation Category in 2010. The Company was a finalist in the Best Marketing Excellence and Best Business Innovation in 2009 and was the winner of the Best Innovation Award in 2008, apart from being a finalist in the Best Small and Medium-sized Business and Best Exporter to India Business categories.
