Anurag Dhiman, Director of Pathfinder Immigration and Education Services, which is located on Great South Road (opposite Nanaksar Sikh Temple) in Manurewa, Auckland is known for his honesty, integrity and transparency.
A graduate in Computers Applications and a postgraduate in Business Management and IT, he worked as a Senior Research Analyst with Capital IQ (a Subsidiary of Standard & Poor’s) in Gurgaon, India. He also worked for various multinational companies including ICICI Bank, Capital IQ, GE India and Virgin Australia.
Licensed Adviser
Arriving in New Zealand in 2010, he completed his Graduation Certificate in Immigration and obtained an Immigration Adviser License from the Immigration Advisers Authority. He established his consultancy business in 2013 and a year later (2014) opened a branch in Delhi to cater to offshore applicants.
“As a migrant, I faced a number of tough challenges and realised that immigrants struggle to get quality immigration advice. I therefore decided to pursue my career in the immigration industry. I am doing my best to serve our community,” he said.
Tricky area
Mr Dhiman said that Immigration is a tricky area and some people may choose to follow their own method and act without properly understanding the meaning and context of the Immigration Law.
“Many have suffered because of such erring immigration agents. In some cases, there would be no clear cut ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answer to a particular situation. Some applicants may not expect positive outcomes but an expert may be able to suggest a solution to a complex immigration matter. A Licensed Immigration Adviser will not only explain the law and procedures but also suggest options for positive outcome,” he said.
