New Zealand specialises in coffee houses that are ideal venues for people to get to know each other, exchange information and even conduct business deals.
With their pleasant ambience and friendly service, these coffee houses are known to generate goodwill and understanding.
The ‘Coffee House’ located on Great South Road in Hunters Plaza (Papatoetoe), opposite Countdown and beside ASB Bank is one such. Reopened under new management in November 2014, it has quickly established itself as the ‘room to chat and spread friendship’ throughout the working week and over the weekends.
The ‘Coffee House’ is also a place for families.
As well as offering an excellent blend of coffee that is known for great taste, the outlet offers cakes, sandwiches and snacks that are delicious and healthy.
Residents and businesses in the area say that the ‘Coffee House’ has endeared itself as the location for birthday parties, private functions and even meetings.
“From a cultural standpoint, the Coffee House also serves as a centre of social interaction. It provides members of the community with a place to congregate, talk, write, read, entertain one another and spend quality time either individually or in small groups of two or three people. It also serves as an informal club for many of us,” a patron said.
