Glittering example of customer service

Hard work and consistent efforts to succeed have been the hallmarks in the life and career of Kuldip Singh Luther, Managing Director of Goldmine Jewellers, located in the fast-growing business district of Papatoetoe, South Auckland.

Arriving from his native Punjab (India) in 1989, he studied the market before opening a small business dealing in gold jewellery almost two years later.

Long hour of work all days of the week enabled him to establish a new business venture (Luther Jewellers) in 2004. It grew as a family enterprise.

“It was time to expand again. Customer support encouraged me to open ‘Goldmine Jewellers’ on Charles Street (Papatoetoe). The objective has been to offer an exclusive range of gold jewellery to the discerning customers,” he said.

The showroom also caters to the tailoring needs of the community. The pleasing personality of Mr Luther and his ability to provide personalised service have helped the company to establish a niche in the market.

“Customers visit the showroom not only for an ever increasing selection of gold jewellery but also to have alterations done for their dresses and garments. I believe that ‘God made man and a good dress makes a gentleman.’ I feel satisfied when customers are happy,” he said.
