Members of the Indian and other communities would benefit from a free seminar on a number of issues relating to the New Zealand Labour Law.
Organised by the Settlement Support Porirua, the Seminar will be presented by the Whitireia Community Law Centre and Employment Contract Services.
It will be held from 10 am at Te Rauparaha Arena Theatre in Porirua on December 3.
Among the topics that would be covered are employment agreements and minimum conditions, fixed term contracts, public holiday entitlement, solving employment relationship problems, leave and breaks and trial period and entitlements on resignation.
A Question & Answer session will follow the presentations.
