Ashok Kochhar –
Throughout our lives, we continuously gather knowledge from various sources.
Some of it is acquired with great ease, whereas at other times, a great amount of effort is required.
The Eastern way was to pass on teachings through demonstrations.
The masters hardly spoke about their teachings, but they went on demonstrating them through their daily behaviour.
They made learning so easy for their disciples and students that without their knowledge, they learnt and absorbed the subtle lessons that became an intrinsic part of their being over a period of time.
Sharing resources
The late contemporary Master OSHO gave a new word to this energy field named as a Commune, a living of future where all the resources are shared without any personal gain or conflict.
I was so inspired by the idea that I started my way of sharing knowledge and experience. I have named it ‘Creative Commune,’ a space where you share your experience and knowledge selflessly.
This gives an opportunity to create a chain reaction.
Whosoever gets into such a space is influenced by the idea and would then pass it on to many more like-minded individuals.
Just imagine such sharing of thoughts, without any vested interest; just like a flower sharing its fragrance; any passerby can enjoy it without any classification.
No conflict
There is no conflict by such an act; no violent competition; a space which spreads on its own, a space where people enjoy to breathe and share their experiences.
I am doing my bit. I started the movement in 2010 sharing my creative experiences with youngsters who seek any form of creative art.
I designed many events to share this thought of Creative Commune.
I have launched the same concept in New Zealand.
Unique New Zealanders
People of this land are unique and always enthusiastic to learn new creative ideas.
It was no doubt difficult to share the concept at the outset.
But after one or two demonstrations, people not only accepted the thought but also started spreading it.
I am promoting the ‘Creative Commune’ concept around Waikato region (since I live in Hamilton). I am delighted of the outcome, as today I have many friends in what was once an unknown land.
I would like to share some visuals so that you can think and share this thought with your friends and family.
Let us spread our petals and try be a Lotus flower.
Ashok Kochhar has brought back the beauty of creative photography, encouraging people to look back at the glorious days of the lens. He has lit the flame in New Zealanders and we hope to see increasing creativity. These pictures demonstrate that smart photographs do not come in handsets.
